I had an incredible dining experience at L'Isola d'Oro in Rome. I ennjoyed the seafood platter, the seafood rice and the pasta with shimps and truffles, was exceptional -rich, aromatic and beautiful presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend L'Isola d'Oro for anyone looking to indulge in high-quality seafood and authentic Italian flavors. A truly memorable culinary experience!

I recently visited this wonderful restaurant in Rome and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The seafood dishes were absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The star of the show however was their Orechiette L’Isola d’Oro (€20). It was a beautiful truffle cream sauce with shrimp and squash blossoms coating perfectly cooked orechiette. Worth. Every. This place left us speechless for its service and food. Whole experience was amazing! Our local roman friends go to this place for their special occasions and they wanted us to try it as well. We did all antipasti tasting and we did order a branzino and pasta orechete with shrimp was delicious. Highly would recommended anyone who loves a good seafood.

The food here is to die for. You absolutely must try the specialties of the House, seafood platter. And in fact, unless you're super hungry, that's probably going to be most of what you eat because they're like 11 separate plates that come. The service here is wonderful. We go every year. And some customers are quite rude but the staff is still very nice to them, I don't know how they do it. If I had to pick one thing to eat here and I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life it would be the swordfish cake. It's just absolutely the best thing that has ever been created anywhere. It's wonderful to eat outside there, but the atmosphere inside is also wonderful. Looking around at the trophies and pictures of the old Sardinian soccer club. Be sure to try some Mirto di Sardinia before you go. I've been to a hundred restaurants in Rome and this is hands down my absolute favorite.- Servizio

I tried several restaurants in Rome and l'isola d'oro was my favorite so far. The food is very delicious and affordable, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I went there twice during my three days' trip. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in Rome again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a perfect Italian dining experience with a fair price! Their special pasta is amazing! Seafood and risotto was exceptional as well. Unfortunately we haven’t had capacity to try the desserts :)

Servers were very kind and patient with us. We ordered an appetizer that said “house specialties” and a seafood pasta to split. The seafood pasta was amazing, but the appetizer was something truly spectacular. We were expecting just a plate of a few items. Instead we received about 5 or 6 small plates of a variety of seafood. I’m assuming this was meant for a large party instead of just the 2 of us considering the sheer quantity. Also one of the employees saw the 2 of us trying to tackle all these plates and started laughing and said something to the effect of “good luck”. Somehow we managed to eat it all and I have no regrets other than not having enough room for dessert.- Cibo

This was my favourite restaurant in 4 weeks of touring Italy. I recommend it to everyone who goes to Rome. Best seafood and pasta ever - get the house special on both. And the lobster. Staff don’t speak a lot of English but I don’t speak much Italian and we all got on fine. Goes beyond language. Absolutely wonderful people here and food. So welcoming and amazing service.
